Messages, photos, videos, voice notes, files, calls, profile photos, group names and Glimpses are encrypted on your phone before they leave it. Not Qevio, not our hosting provider, not Google and not any government can read them.
Each message is encrypted separately for every device of the people you write to, with forward secrecy. Your phone certifies each of your devices, so nobody can quietly add one to listen in, and security codes let you check that nobody is in between.
HD voice and video calls up to 1080p, one to one or in groups of up to eight. Calls are encrypted end to end, including the call setup, so not even our relay can listen in.
Our server passes encrypted photos, videos and files along and deletes each one as soon as it has been delivered, after seven days at the latest. If you like, back up to your own Google Drive, encrypted with a password only you know.
Sign up with your phone number. The code arrives on WhatsApp, or by SMS if you don't use WhatsApp. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
